About Our Company

We are excited to announce that we have recently purchased McGrath Trailers, a small manufacturing business founded by Mr William McGrath approx. 40 years ago. The core business includes the manufacture and refurbishment, service and repair of commercial trailers.

The new team is led by Mr Ryan Lawell.  Ryan has over 10 years’ experience in the Fleet Engineering industry. He started his own Fleet Maintenance Business in 2018 which has gone from strength to strength.  He has recently relocated to larger premises to facilitate his growing business. He is an associate member of both the Institute of Regional Transport Engineers and the Society of Operations’ Engineers. Ryan will take up the role of Operations Director.

Ms Kirsty Vaughan will hold the position of Finance Director.  Kirsty’s background is in Office Administration and Finance. She has worked in several large multi-national organisations during the last 10 years and will bring vast experience in all purchase to payment processes.

Mrs Karen Lawell joins the team as Sales and Marketing Director.  Karen has over 35 years experience working in the transport Industry, including haulage, distribution and passenger transport. She holds an honour’s degree in Business Management from QUB and CPCs in Road Haulage and Passenger Transport.

Mr William McGrath, founder of McGrath Trailers will remain as part of the new team in an advisory role.
